More than 100 Malaysian and Indonesian youths took part in the 'Fun Bike Go Green Indonesia-Malaysia' programme, here, Sunday as part of efforts to strengthen friendship between people of the two neighbouring countries.

The event was organised by the Tawau Rakan Muda Club and Indonesian community's Sebatik Fun Bike Club.

The ride started from the Indonesian Consulate in Jalan Sin On and passed through Jalan Air Panas, Jalan Kuhara, Jalan Pesisir Pantai, Jalan Dunlop and ending in the compound of the Tawau Municipal Council's (MPT) office.

The participants were flagged off by Indonesian Consul in Tawau, Muhammad Soleh and were received by Sabah Assistant Finance Minister, Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan at the end of their journey.
